Nice to Meet You!

Emily Groff Heilborn is a music educator, songwriter, and worship leader based in Memphis, TN. She serves as Director of Music Education and Family Worship at Temple Israel, where she founded TIMPO, a program that includes lessons, ensembles,  community events, and Songleader training. She also produces TIMPO Fest, one of the congregation’s largest annual gatherings, which celebrates Jewish music and community. Her original music, including her debut EP Breathe, is shared in synagogues, camps, and gatherings across the country. Emily has served as an artist-in-residence at camps and congregations, bringing her music and leadership to communities nationwide. Originally from Miami Beach, she now lives in Memphis with her husband, Nick, and their two corgis.
